FAQ
You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers. Learn what your health numbers mean.
What’s BMI? Body Mass Index measures fat using height and weight. A 75 kg person, 1.8 m tall, has a BMI of 23.1. It’s a quick check, not a full picture.
What’s BMR? Basal Metabolic Rate shows calories burned at rest. A 40-year-old man, 175 cm, 80 kg, has a BMR of 1,700 kcal. It’s your baseline.
What’s TDEE? Total Daily Energy Expenditure adds activity to BMR. That man, very active, has a TDEE of 2,900 kcal. It’s your daily burn.
What are macros? Macronutrients split your TDEE into protein, fat, carbs. For 2,000 kcal, you might get 60 g protein, 67 g carbs, 33 g fat (40-30-30 split).
How much water do I need? We estimate 35 ml per kg, plus activity boosts. A 70 kg active person needs 2.8-3.2 L daily.
How do goals work? Pick maintain, lose, or gain. Losing 0.5 kg/week cuts 500 kcal from TDEE. Results adjust to your choice.
